It is with great sadness and embarassment that I must announce that USA Storm is ending our affiliation with Rob Voss in Minneapolis relating to Voss's recent arrest on charges of child pornography, and possession/dissemination of pornography.  www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/police/crimealert/2009-01-20-MPD-Highlights.asp

We are not making any statement regarding the validity of the charges, but we feel that it is imperative that we at USA Storm have to protect our affiliates by avoiding associations that are potentially hazerdous to our members.

I will be asking the advisory board for their input regarding background checks for USA Storm affiliate instructors.   We may move in this direction in the future to protect the USA Storm name.  Unfortuneately, recent years have seen a number of individuals that have been involved in Sambo that have been criminally charged for sex crimes.  I know that some of our members have been previously been burned, and it is my desire to protect USA Storm members and affiliates from any such situations in the future.

Sincerely,

Lance Campbell

USA Storm Founder

Just want to send mad shouts out to everyone that supports us and shows us love.

We experienced our first loss in two years last night and it was a ferocious fight for our assistant Judo Coach Keiji Yumoto in his debut fight. Keiji fought valiantly and actually outstruck the other gentleman standing. Keiji lost by tko on the ground late in the first round. We applaud Keiji and his fighting spirit by stepping the ring...win, lose or draw he is the epitome of Team Storm.

Saeed Hassan stepped up and fought his first MMA fight as well and won by crossbody armbar late in the first round.

Chris Hatcher won by vicious KO in the first round over a very game opponent. After the fight he called out one of our own fighters.

We also want to thank Aaron Kimball for putting on a great show and the hospitality that we were shown in Fayetteville, AR.

For all those that oppose Team Storm...pay attention to the Storm, we are on the horizon and you will be CRUSHED!!! If you are in our way, then you are just the next highlight!!!

Next on the horizon is the Southside Submission Championships and Newaza Neurosis on the 21st of March...more Team Storm highlights on the way.

Coach Jarvis
