OGC is coming to the Cincinnati metro area!!! After hosting SEVEN competitive, fun, and organized competitions in Ohio, we have decided to take the OGC on the road! The OGC presents: Tri-State Grappling Championships Saturday, January 17th, 2009 http://ohiograpplingchallenge.com/ogc8info.html This will be our first OGC event outside Ohio, and we could not be more excited! The competition will be held at Randall K. Cooper High School. This high school is BRAND NEW, and will provide a great atmosphere for competitors and spectators in attendance from all over the Kentucky, Ohio, & Indiana tri-state area! This event is centrally located to the following cities: - 15 minutes from Cincinnati, OH - 1 hour from Dayton, OH - 1 hour from Lexington, KY - 1 hour from Louisville, KY - 2 hours from Columbus, OH - 2 hours from Indianapolis, IN - 3.5 hours from Toledo, OH - 3.5 hours from Knoxville, TN - 4 hours from Nashville, TN Due to the location, we are expecting a big turn out from many of the TOP BJJ & Submission Grappling schools in the region. We are accepting Online Pre-Registration for this event. It is a very simple process, will save you money, and allow you to hit the weigh-in scales a little sooner! Welcome to our newest affiliate school in Johnson City, TN!  Congratulations to Brenden Bohannon on receiving his brown belt in CAMbo!  Brenden is the instructor at Tuco O Tapa in Johnson City. 

We welcome AZ Elite in Maricopa, AZ to our stable of schools.  Matt Lincoln, who trained directly under Lance Campbell in Modesto, CA in 2005 will be the instructor of the Maricopa school.  More information wil be posted soon on our instructor and affiliate school pages.

The Ohio Grappling Challenge 6 is going to be held on Saturday August 2^nd in Pickerington, OH at Pickerington High School Central.

 

The O.G.C., has been gaining support & momentum over the last 2 years. Our last event attracted over 150 competitors from all over the Midwest & Canada.  The quality of our competitors was wide ranging, including Professional MMA fighters, Black & Brown belts from Team Jorge Gurgel and Saulo Ribeiro.  We also have a significant increase in the number of teen & kid competitors!

 

We are also making some additional changes to the format of our events, including “defined” weight classes & divisions for Kids, Teens, & Female competitors.  We will also be adding an “Intermediate” division for the Adult Male No-Gi division.

 

The O.G.C. 6 will also host our 1st EVER “Submission Only” NO-GI INVITATIONAL!!!

•164.9 & under
•180 lbs. to 194.9 lbs

The winners of each division will receive a Championship belt & $300 cash!!!
